The Shropshire Rural Housing Association has been a client of the Heritage Glass Group for three years and the recently completed contract was for the refurbishment of 21 bungalows, which involved the replacement of windows with quality, high-energy rated products.
David Randall, Managing Director of the Heritage Glass Group said: “We have now completed our eighth contract for Shropshire Rural Housing Association, and have refurbished over 80 properties for them over the course of many years. We supplied high-performance windows for this latest project with a local housing association and we look forward to the future with great confidence as we have operated in the commercial market for some years and built up a reputation for excellence”.
Brian Powell, Chief Executive of the Shropshire Rural Housing Association said: “Completion of the replacement window contract at Princess Court represents a large step forward in the Associations programme of improving the thermal efficiency our homes to help reduce fuel poverty and reducing CO2 emissions.
Shropshire Rural Housing chose Heritage Glass to undertake this, and other window replacement contracts, on the basis of value for money and the excellent customer service offered by Heritage Glass. Heritage Glass responded to our specification for new windows to meet our energy efficiency standards with a quality product at a competitive price. Their fitters and administrative staff deal with the installations in an efficient and customer friendly way. We have only received praise from our customers about the way Heritage Glass have undertaken the fitting and everybody has been delighted with the improved heat retention of the new windows. Many customers have reported lower heating costs and better comfort standards since the windows were fitted.
Shropshire Rural Housing is undertaking a programme of improvements to its housing stock and we hope to continue to use local companies offering excellent service to both us and our customers for our ongoing programme”.
David Randall concluded: “Our customer base is ongoing with some of our customers (which include four Shropshire-based premier educational establishments), enjoying a rewarding business relationship for 12 years, and I am very pleased to have maintained a steady flow of work through this recession. I am always proud of the way our workforce completes work on schedule and to our clients’ complete satisfaction.”
“I would also like to thank my staff for their professionalism and expertise. I believe that our reputation gives us a competitive edge in a diverse commercial marketplace and the directors of Heritage Glass Group will continue to take a hands-on approach to ensure successful completion of major projects in sectors as diverse as the Fire & Rescue Service, hospitals, office accommodation and the commercial marketplace”.
