A ‘cup cakes’ raffle, where prizes were won by picking a cake with a jam centre, together with an auction for a specially baked cake, raised over £300 during the evening for Hope House Children’s Hospice.
A 12-month project and major investment has seen the finalisation of the outright purchase of the company’s premises followed by a complete £75k makeover of the showrooms as part of overall company expansion, including new staff and enhanced fleet of vehicles.
A suite of offices with a dedicated boardroom and self-contained kitchen areas has been created in the building adjacent to the showrooms which is now let to three independent companies.
Heritage director Tony Randall, said: “At this time of year it is good to get people together and for us to celebrate yet another outstandingly successful year in business by thanking the people we work with.
“Independent tenants of our offices have joined in with great support and enthusiasm and helped us raise money for this wonderful local charity which is literally the icing on the cake.”
